Salman is a seventh-generation barrister who comes from a stable of pedigree and seasoned training. He enjoys litigation owing to his flair for intellectual fencing. The domain of his practice is varied and includes disputes regarding breach of contract, construction, creditor/debtor debt relief, real estate litigation, mortgage enforcement, defamation and franchise litigation with a special emphasis on commercial and construction disputes. He represents a broad cohort of clients from the construction industry, including owners, developers, contractors and subcontractors. He has practiced in India, England and Toronto. He brings to the table a confluence of unyielding tenacity, creative thinking and readily employable wit.

Salman equipped himself with a thoroughly honed set of skills in negotiation and conflict resolution by pursuing a Master of Laws in Settlement Negotiations from the hallowed halls of University College London, England, an institution renowned for forging world leaders through a high academic tradition. Desirous of acquainting himself with the contours of Canadian commerce and jurisprudence, he subsequently undertook a Master of Laws in Business at Osgoode Hall Law School. This dual foundation, rooted in transatlantic scholarship, has granted him a rare breadth of legal perspective; one that marries the strategic disposition of a nuanced negotiator with the prudent instincts of a commercial litigator. He then acquired experience at a boutique law firm in GTA and at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). Salman liaised with British solicitors to represent his clients in international commercial arbitrations before the GAFTA Tribunal. granting him the ability to find unique remedies to client problems.  This synthesis of legal acumen, commercial insight, and interpersonal finesse enables him to craft unique and bespoke solutions to complex client challenges, solutions that are not only legally sound but strategically advantageous.

Salman takes the time to carefully explain to his clients the intricacies of the legal process.
